Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters Act

9.1 (1) When a request is presented to the Minister by the International Criminal Court for the enforcement of an order for the restraint or seizure of proceeds of crime, the Minister may authorize the Attorney General of Canada to make arrangements for the enforcement of the order.

9.1 (2) On receipt of an authorization, the Attorney General of Canada may file a copy of the order with the superior court of criminal jurisdiction of the province in which property that is the subject of the order is believed to be located.

9.1 (3) On being filed, the order may be enforced as if it were a warrant issued under subsection 462.32(1) of the Criminal Code or an order made under subsection 462.33(3) of that Act.

Other forms of cooperation
1. States Parties shall, in accordance with the provisions of this Part and under procedures of national law, comply with requests by the Court to provide the following assistance in relation to investigations or prosecutions:
(k) The identification, tracing and freezing or seizure of proceeds, property and assets and instrumentalities of crimes for the purpose of eventual forfeiture, without prejudice to the rights of bona fide third parties
