3 Trial and punishment of main offences

(4) A person convicted of—
an offence involving murder ; or
an offence ancillary to an offence involving murder,
shall be dealt with as for an offence of murder or, as the case maybe, the corresponding ancillary offence in relation to murder.

Any person convicted of an offence (other than an offence involving murder or an offence ancillary to an offence involving murder) shall be liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 30 years.
