CHAPTER SEVEN
Plurality of Crime and Its Effect on Punishment

Article 156 :

If several crimes result from commitment of several acts and those crime are so related to one another as not to be separable and a single objective should be responsible for bringing them together, the court shall order the anticipated punishment of each crime but stipulate the enforcement of only the heaviest punishent. This, however does not obstruct the .application of consequential and complementary punishments and security measures stipulated by the law or to which he is sentenced because of his other crimes.

Plurality of Crime and Its Effect on Punishment

Article 158

If a person commits several crimes and these crimes are not related to one another and prior to the issuance of verdict with respect, to any of them there should be no unity of objective to bring the said crimes together, the court shall order the anticipated punishment of each crime and the punishmente shall be enforced on him one after another, provided that the total period of imprisonment should not exceed twenty years.
