7. (1) For the purposes of proceedings for an offence under section 6, the following provisions of the Rome Statute shall apply, with any necessary modifications—

(b) article 21 (which deals with the law applicable at proceedings at international level)

(a) the provisions of Kenyan law and the principles of criminal law applicable to the offence under Ken¬yan law shall apply;
