Chapter XVI. Offences against peace, and humanity, and war crimes
Article 122.
ยง 2. The same punishment shall be imposed on anyone, who, in the course of warfare, uses a means of warfare prohibited by international law.

War crimes
2. For the purpose of this Statute, "war crimes" means:
(b) Other serious violations of the laws and customs applicable in international armed conflict, within the established framework of international law, namely, any of the following acts:
(xix) Employing bullets which expand or flatten easily in the human body, such as bullets with a hard envelope which does not entirely cover the core or is pierced with incisions
