Freedom from cruel and degrading treatment
SECTION 11
(1) Every person has the right to freedom from torture of any kind, whether physical, mental or emotional, and from cruel, inhumane, degrading or disproportionately severe treatment or punishment.
Article 55
Rights of persons during an investigation
1. In respect of an investigation under this Statute, a person:
