42. Arrest, detention and fair trial
(1) Every person who is detained, including every sentenced prisoner, shall have the
right —
(a) to be informed of the reason for his or her detention promptly, and in a language which
he or she understands ;
Rights during investigation - access to interpreter and translation if questioned in other language
Rights during investigation - informed of belief that crime has been committed
