55. Prisoners escaping to undergo unexpired term with further imprisonment.
Any person escaping from imprisonment shall, on being re¬taken, undergo, in the prison he escaped from, the remainder of his term unexpired at the time of his escape, in addition to the punishment which may be awarded for the escape.
