Perjury and Similar Offences
Section 217—Causing Witness to Disobey Summons.
Whoever in any manner wilfully causes any person to disobey any summons, process, or order lawfully issued or made for his attendance as a witness in any judicial proceeding, or for the production by him of any written or other evidence in any judicial proceeding, is guilty of a misdemeanour.

Corruptly influencing a witness, obstructing or interfering with the attendance or testimony of a witness, retaliating against a witness for giving testimony or destroying, tampering with or interfering with the collection of evidence
