62. Where no definite term of imprisonment is fixed by law.

When imprisonment is to be awarded for any offence, and no definite period is fixed by law, the term of such imprisonment shall always be in the discretion of the Court passing the sentence, and when a fine is to be awarded for any offence, and no amount is fixed, the amount shall be in the discretion of the Court passsing the sentence.
