Article 7:

1. Arrests may not be made except in connection with acts
punishable by law; must be based on due process of law.

2. The General Prosecution shall immediately release any person
whose freedom has been restricted in violation of this law or who has been placed under provisional arrest beyond the period authorized by the law, or by sentence or by a judge’s order.
