Attempting a Crime
Article (18):
Attempting a crime is starting to carry out an act with the intent of perpetrating a crime; for reasons that do not have anything to do with the desire of the perpetrator the conduct of the perpetrator was halted as such, or the consequences thereof were foiled, even if the realization of the crime intended by the perpetrator were impossible to achieve due to the deficiency in the method used to carry out the crime, or to the failure of the targeted object of the crime to appear, or to the absence of the victim of the crime.
